SOUNDS OF THE MORNING

Sounds of the morning wake me up.
Cuckoo, Cuckoo. The alarm goes off.
The birds begin to sing.
The phones start to ring.
The eggs are frying.
The baby is crying.
The water runs and makes a splash.
Everyone is late and makes a dash.
The BBC comes on with the news it makes.
The traffic halts with a squeal of brakes.
The many sounds of the morning wake.
Another day will God make.
