Last month we found out how very carefully God planned for us and how creatively He formed each one of us-our bodies, our personalities and our abilities. BUT WHERE IS GOD? Some people throughout history have thought that if God could not be seen then He did not exist. Is that logical? Can there be something that is not seen that still exists? Have you ever seen your heart? Does it exist? How do you know? You know it exists because you have a heartbeat; with no heartbeat you would not live very long at all.

One way we can know God exists is that we see all the things He made in this world, including us. Scientists study the things God made and try to copy them, but they never come out quite the same. God's creations are unique and wonderful. If you are searching for God and open to knowing whether or not there is a God, ask God simply and honestly to show you that He exists. People who have done this have spoken to God in words like these: "GOD, IF YOU ARE THERE, PLEASE SHOW ME."

 

People who have opened their heart to Him have usually left it up to God to show them in a way He chose. They have told stories about God hearing that prayer and answering in ways very special to them. Some felt the presence of God all around them. Some felt His love. With some, nothing happened right away. But wait! Later an event occurred or they saw something that they knew had to be God. Many times, after "hearing" God, people make Him their best Friend and talk to Him often, telling Him everything that was happening in their lives, asking His advice, and trusting Him to help. HE IS THERE FOR EACH OF US. WE JUST NEED TO CALL ON HIM.
